About Me
Despite spending most of my adult life being a backend developer, through a turn of events, I’m now founder and CEO of a company in the medical space.
I’m deeply enjoying the challenge and I think my professional experience gives me a unique vision on how to optimise and develop such a company.
In the past, I ran my own dev shop with a couple of high school friends and we were the first to build large scale Rails websites in Italy which led to me moderating panels at Pycon Italia and Rails to Italy.
After that I did some freelancing, opened a Japanese restaurant in my hometown, sold natural wine, opened a coffee shop in NYC. All sorts of things.
Finally, ended up leading the backend team for two different startups, the last of which was a YC company.
In my freetime I love to travel with my family (I have a “bunch” of kids), scuba diving, climbing and pretending to know how to play a guitar.
If you want to contact me, my email is m@the-domain-you're-currently-on. I’m always open to talk about Web development, startups, business ideas.
