Snowboarding
Tomorrow, I’m going to try to snowboard for the first time. Actually, it’s not my very first time, because I tried it for 10 minutes 2/3 years ago, but still, it’ll be my real first time.
I don’t know what to expect: snow should be good - it snowed almost all-week-long - and I can go on a skateboard, but those are the only things that will help me.
Any tips/advices? Wish me luck… :D

Hi Michele,
When you take your first lesson:
The teacher told you to try to stay for a long time, on your board, with your right foot (if your regular) or your left foot (if you’re goofy) not attached, and be flexible on your legs. See right in front of you. ( and wait 10 seconds, if you’re lucky, before your fall ) :D I’m kidding. Take a little speed, to turn a bit, that’s your right leg (if your regular) or your left leg (if you’re goofy), who gives the direction to your board. A friend can help you, taking you by the arms, for the first exercise. Attach your second foot, when you’re more stable on your deck. You must fold the knees a little, your arms are useful to turn. Choose a flat pist for the begining ( green pist). (not “la piste Jeannot Lapin” too flat :D Jeannot’s rabbit pist , in french it’s the name for the child’s pist. :P )
That’s just my two cents. If you can take a lesson of one hour, the next time, it will be very useful for your progression, or ask an experienced friend to give you some advices. A teacher corrects your defaults quickly. ;)
Good luck. Take some photos. :P

It’s a fun sport.. Very similar to wakeboarding which means I can probably do it. I just haven’t been to the snow for so long (about 8 years now!).
Have a great time, and lots of photos as Guillaume said..
