You might remember me saying: “Sure enough there’ll be a new secret project in the near future, just not now.”, just a few days ago — you can find it at the very end of the post about Unilife.
Well, delete it! :)
During the past few days I came up with a couple of ideas:
- In the past few months we’ve seen job boards popping up everywhere, so I thought it might be interesting to add a job board to 16bugs.
There are thousands of users on 16bugs and most are developers/designers, so I definitely think it would be a wise choice for someone to post a job on it. Don’t you think so?
16coders was launched today and you can get a great deal throughout the rest of the year: each job you submit entitles you for a free month on 16bugs, just send an email to support at 16bugs dot com referencing to your transaction and 16bugs account. - The other project was born because of something we needed for both Unilife and 16bugs.
It will probably be a hosted service and it’s almost ready for internal use.
I think we’ll be having it in private beta somewhere before the end of Q1 2007, but we’re still working out the details.
Don’t worry, I’ll keep you posted on this one. :)
And know what? I blame Ruby on Rails for making it so darn easy to get a new project started, tested and deployed!
