Hey Shawn, thanks for stopping by!

I promise I'll now try to keep posting a bit more -- I was actually writing an entry right now...

You take care, too. :)

*@ Andrea:* I came to love Markdown because it has a much simpler and easier to implement syntax. Plus, it seems much cleaner (as an example, take how links work in both).
Also, I was a bit upset with Ruby's Textile gem (RedCloth), which I use on 16bugs, because it's far from perfect and that made me make the switch to Markdown/Bluecloth on my next project. :)

*@ Christoper:* thanks for stopping by, buddy. I wish you the best for the future! :)

Yay! Good to see you posted an entry.

Alright, the same goes for my blog, just a few dedicated visitors. I'm a U.S. Marine so sometimes I don't have easy access to a computer with an internet connection. For the past 6 months I've been on the busiest and most deploy happy units in the Marine Corps, the Marine Expeditionary Unit. Whenever sometimes happens, we are there FIRST before anyone else. We are the very Tip of the Spear. So, we were in the Philippines awhile ago, then we went to the Indonesia area. I've been on boat for about two months and if not that, then I've been training. But...finally I'm back. I'm about to re-enlist for three more years with a unit that doesn't deploy and I'm about to FINALLY get married. .......Military life. Gotta love it.

Glad to hear from you again, Michele!

It looks like you've being very busy, and so did I. I've spent the latest months on a pretty important project, which will be the basis I will write my thesis on.

Besides that, usual stuff. I think I'll never be fully satisfied of my private works, so when I have some spare time I try to get my blog look better, with alternate results.

Why did you opt for Markdown, anyways?
