Michele’s Freeminding

Wow, it’s been quite a long time since I last wrote here. And for quite a long time I hadn’t even posted a photo on Flickr — though I posted a few starting last week.

So why is it?

First of all, I had my finals which went well, but kept me busy.
I’m also now working a bit on 16bugs which deserves a bit of attention and am putting the final bits of a secret project together: we’ll go private beta in just a bit more than two weeks.

Talking about this latest project of mine, it’s really getting 80% of my time. We — this time I’m not going solo :) — have lots of things to do and not much time to do them.
Hopefully, it will be well-spent time. And unfortunately for most of you, you won’t be able to try it given it’s exclusively aimed at the Italian market.

Apart from the many things keeping me busy, there’s another reason why I haven’t posted in a good while — actually two:

1. As you may have noticed, I’m aiming toward more high-quality and insightful posts: the blogosphere is already full of useless blogs written for the sake of it, so I’d like to make mine a little bit different which leads to #2
2. More insightful posts deserves a bit more attention. Take my post on religions: after a month, I still get comments: it was a long post, which needed a lot of attention to read carefully and to answer properly, so I thought it was important to leave it on the first page for a few more days (weeks? ;) ) than usual.

I must say my need to write hasn’t diminished a bit, it’s just that I need more time to produce good posts rather than writing about the last Apple’s rumor. ;)
