Releasing Noted
Remember me talking about developing a Mac OS X app?
Now, it’s time to release it!
The app is noted and it has its own website — at the moment it’s still pretty plain.
It’s a simple note taking application: one note opened at a time, automatic saving each time you open a new note and not much more.
At the moment, it’s still in alpha stage, that means it has bugs. And that’s why I’m releasing it: you’ll help me find and fix those bugs!
Now download it — you can make a donation, too, if you feel so :D — and tell me what you think.
And if you’d like to suggest new features, please, do so by leaving a comment or sending me an email.

This sounds like a great app for the OS! Particularly for a Powerbook or an iBook! Hmm, wish I had a mac.
Just used it for a couple of minutes before I head out the door to work, but it looks great Michele. The only suggestion I can make so far is that it would be nice to see tooltips when I hover over the buttons in the app.
I’m glad you choosed the free with donations approach. :)
The moment my first Mac arrives I’ll be testing this cute little app.
@ Jeff: thanks for the suggestion. I’ve added tooltips, so they’ll be there in the next release — in a couple of days.
@ Giorgio: lets see if someone will be kind enough to donate. :)
Let me know what you think as soon as you test it! :D
Same with me. I’m unfortunate to be stuck to XP or else I could’ve download it.
Hi there Michele how are ya? I’m just googling “Gmail Spolier” and I reached your blog. I read the following: http://finotto.org/archives/2005/02/02/more-gmail-invites/ and the only Gmail Spolier is isnoop.net/gmail ?? let me know all rite? many thanx ~take care~
@ Patty: I guess, but know it’s been forced to close. If you need a gmail account I’m sure you can find many who’ll send you one.
Try to search for “gmail invite” on “Technorati”:http://technorati.com and you’ll find many people who are willing to give away invites.
For Gmail invites, you might want to try the related DMOZ category.
I’d love to test it for you Michele, but unfortunately I’m stuck with XP as Kates. Can’t you create an XP version?
Patty: I can invite you if you want me to, just got a lot of new invitations, soo…
Just contact me from my blog…
@ Kates & Esben: or you could get a Mac… :D
I’d like to make an XP version, too, but at the moment, it’s not doable. But I have an idea that should be nice to implement…we’ll see… ;)
I’m keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that you’ll some day make an XP version :D
